AB Figures are excited to introduce two new additions to our 20mm WWII range: Chindits and Chindit Mules & Handlers. These figures capture the rugged resilience of one of the most remarkable fighting forces of the war.
Who Were the Chindits?
The Chindits were a British and Commonwealth special forces unit formed to take the war deep into Japanese-held Burma. Fighting through some of the most hostile terrain of the Second World War, they relied on long-range penetration tactics, hit-and-run raids, and the endurance of their men and animals to disrupt enemy supply lines and communications. Operating far from conventional support, the Chindits depended on mules to carry essential supplies—ammunition, food, and medical gear—through the dense jungle.
The Miniatures:
-
AB-INB65 - Chindits: Lightly equipped but battle-hardened, these figures capture the look of men who lived and fought in the jungle, wearing slouch hats and bush gear suited for the brutal conditions.
-
AB-SPB16 - Chindit Mules & Handlers: No Chindit operation could function without its supply train. These figures depict handlers leading pack mules laden with crates, ready to support deep-penetration raids.
Sculpted by Tony Barton, these miniatures bring the detail and realism that AB Figures is known for, making them an essential addition for WWII wargamers looking to recreate the Burma Campaign.
Both sets are available now—ready to fight deep behind enemy lines.
